Footer sign-off — how big should the lockup be?

The case-nav above each footer is real, copied from case-viewryt.html, so the sign-off is judged at the distance it will be read from. Dashed rails are bench chrome. Heights are not round numbers: the name's cap height is 0.256 of the lockup and Onest's is 0.722 of its font-size, so height = token × 2.82 sets the name to an existing type token. 28px — the nav mark's height — is not offered: it would put the name at 9.9px, below the 12px floor.

A   35px · centred   name reads at --t-label 12px — the exact optical weight of the mono line it replaces
B   51px · centred   name reads at --t-body 18px — the site's floor for anything meant to be read
C   66px · centred   name reads at --t-sub 24px — the ceiling
D   51px · left at the gutter   closes on the same x the nav mark opens on
E   51px · centred + copyright   keeps the © line every other option deletes
Proof   the 51px lockup beside real 18px body copy — the two caps should match
